Happy volunteer day !!!! "The volunteers: first to act. Right here. Everywhere"

More than thirty organizations gathered at the Hotel Le Pavé Antaninarenina to celebrate the International Volunteer Day (IVD) on December 5th and 6th. They discussed the revision of the National Malagasy Volunteering Strategy. This initiative has been supported by the Ministry of Communication and Relations with Institutions.

WWF also participates through the Explore! Program, a WWF volunteering platform for young people around the world. Since 2005, more than 190 young people have been recruited by the program.

They are expected to work either at the office or in the field where WWF's works. So, they will have to engage with a larger team and participate in all activities related to the conservation of natural resources and the development of partners such as raising sensitization, training, education and organization of corollary events.

"Being Explore! Is a life experience. Acting for the conservation and for humanity in ways that benefits people. I strongly encourage young people to engage selflessly as a citizen for the development of Madagascar "says Rindra, a current WWF communications volunteer.
