The mayor of Beantake leads communities to replant trees
Aware of the decline in the wood stock caused by cuts and coal mining, the mayor of Beantake himself led the communities to plant trees.
Together, these communities hope that through this initiative, they will have wood available for construction and heating. This initiative helps relieve the thorny forest that has suffered from over-exploitation for charcoal production for several years. The mayor's actions are an example to follow for the surrounding communes.
