NEPAL - Full protection for the 200,000 hectare Kanchenjunga region

The Kanchenjunga region, an area of 200,000 hectares including the world's 3rd highest peak, will be fully protected by the year 2000, helping protect the Himalayan Black Bear, Red Panda, and Snow Leopard.
