On 26 February, WWF organised in the European Parliament an EU Briefing on Advanced Biofuels and Indirect Use Change.

Speakers discussed the best policy tools to spur the deployment of advanced biofuels while ensuring their production remains sustainable. They took the Commission’s proposal on Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC) as a starting point.

This event was organised in cooperation with Novozymes.

See the speakers' presentation under downloads.

On the sidelines of the event, Jason Anderson, Head of EU climate and energy policy at WWF European Policy Office, talked about the most important and controversial issues in the EC's proposal on indirect land use. Watch the video here.
