IT Officer (full-time) and Communications Officer (full-time)

With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF-Greater Mekong is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong region and home to more than 300 million people in the region.

WWF-Greater Mekong has embarked on new strategic plan FY11-FY15. The new strategic plan outlines changes in the way WWF-GM operates, both in conservation and operation aspects.

WWF-Laos is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced Lao national candidates to work in the following positions:

IT Officer (full-time)

Base location: Vientiane, Laos PDR

The IT Officer ensures the development, implementation and monitoring of IT action plan, which is aligned to the GMPO IT Strategy. He/she also ensures the smooth and efficient function of IT system of WWF Laos and provides technical helps on electricity related issues when required.

Gross salary: from US$5,004 to U$D7,500 or Lak39,931,920 to Lak59,850,000 per year depended on qualification.

Communications Officer (full-time)

Base location: Vientiane, Laos PDR
She/he will implement of the communications action plan for WWF-Laos that is aligned to the WW- GM Communications Strategy. Clear priorities will be set by the Communications Manager, in agreement with the Country Director, to ensure identified WWF-Laos communications activities can be delivered in a 50 percent capacity.

Gross salary: from US$5,004 to U$D7,500 or Lak39,931,920 to Lak59,850,000 per year depended on qualification.
