With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF-Greater Mekong is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong region and home to more than 300 million people in the region.

WWF-Greater Mekong has embarked on new strategic plan FY11-FY15. The new strategic plan outlines changes in the way WWF-GM operates, both in conservation and operation aspects.

WWF-Laos is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced Lao or Expatriate candidate to work in the following position of SSK-NNBK Landscape Manager (full-time)

Base location: Vientiane, Laos PDR

The Landscape Manager plays the lead role in the planning, coordination, and management of the WWF effort to conserve Country's Landscape. He/she is responsible for all aspects of this work, including the planning, management, financial, and administrative aspects of the landscape project. He/she organizes project execution consistent with programme objectives engaging national counterparts and building reputation for quality design and reliable delivery. During the transition period and in regards to contracted engagement with donors and Lao Government counterpart and in order to keep high standard of project delivery and Government partnership, the SSK-NNBK Landscape Manager will keep the full responsibility over Freshwater/Mekong activity on going or under approval in the Lao side of the Southern Lao Central Vietnam Landscape (SL), This include staff supervision, activity implementation, reporting, monitoring and communications. The SSK-NNBK Landscape manager will also during this transition period work closely and fully updates the SL Landscape Manager on all Freshwater/Mekong activity in development or implementation with him/her the SL landscape.

Annual Gross salary: from US$10,044 to U$D45,576 or Lak80,151,120 to Lak363,696,480 per year depended on qualification.
