Interviews with WWF African Rhino Programme Coordinator Dr. Joseph Okori and Traffic Elephant and Rhino Coordinator Tom Milliken appear in an investigative report on rhino poaching and horn trade in the June 13, 2011 Time magazine. The article, entitled Killing Fields: Africa's rhinos under threat, appears on the cover of the international editions of the esteemed publication.

Time writers chronicle the many serious challenges to rhino conservation including unabated poaching by criminal syndicates, high-level political corruption, and the development of new consumer markets. "We look on this as an emergency," Okori says in the article. "We are waging a protracted war."
