RUSSIA (Khabarovsk Region) - Creation of 800,000 hectare network of protected areas

A network of protected areas covering 850,000 hectares will be established until the year 2005. Included are Shantarskie Ostrova (500,000 hectares), Bolonsky (100,000 hectares), and Anuisky (250,000 hectares).
