TURKEY - Declaration of 4 new RAMSAR sites

A substantial increase in wildlife reserves, national parks and protected areas was announced; 4 important protected areas were declared as Ramsar sites, including the Kizilirmak Delta, which shelters 10,000 waders each spring, plus Whitetailed Eagle, Osprey, Dalmatian pelican and 50 pairs of the rare Black Stork.
