Factsheet on WWF’s Protected Areas for a Living Planet Carpathian Ecoregion Project, which aims to help governments from the ecoregion achieve the 2012/2012 targets of the CBD Programme of Work on Protected Areas - an historic commitment by 190 governments to create a global network of comprehensive, well-managed, and representative terrestrial and marine protected areas.
